Teen Summer Reading Program
All teens are invited to register for these fun activities this summer. Parental signature required on some events. Please see library staff for more information.
The summer reading program for teens includes an annual scavenger hunt, learning to use the Kimball Makerspace equipment, and other fun activities. This program runs each summer in June.
Teen Advisory Board
The purpose of the Teen Advisory Board is to provide services for the youth of the community and to advise the main Library Board and Director for the benefits of teens in the library.
Teens ages 13-18 are encouraged to join this group. Each teen must complete a simple application.
Teen Maker Kits
Teen Maker Kits are available for use in the library or they can be checked out for home use. These kits include a Duct Tape Kit, Macrame Kit, and a Black Out Poetry Kit.
Young Adult Book Club
Young people meet once monthly to discuss the book of the month. Books vary in interest and suggestions are always welcome.
