The Kimball Public Library enriches our community be encouraging and supporting lifelong learning through free and open access to books, technology, and cultural activities.
Kimball Public Library was officially established in 1919. The library has been in many different building over the years. The current building was built in 1966 and has been added to over the years. Kimball Public Library has a long history of providing services for the community that enrich and support. The library has worked hard to always provide access to the latest technology. Our most recent addition is the Kimball Makerspace. This space provides access to machines and equipment that let our patrons create and learn. Amber Sweetland
Amber has been with the library for 5 years. She is an avid reader. Amber moved to Nebraska from Arizona and couldn’t be happier. She loves mystery, science fiction, and fantasy novels.
Assistant Director/Tech Services:
Cheryl Paul
Cheryl has been with the library for over 2 years. She loves people and is the happy helper at our front desk. She loves to read and enjoys modern and historical fiction.
Youth Librarian:
Amelia Shada
Amelia has been with library for over a year. She enjoys reading historical fiction, fantasy, and whatever sounds good.
Library Clerk:
Davina Butler
Davina has been with the library for 3 years. She is the liaison to the genealogy society. She enjoys listening to audiobooks with her husband and creating new things in the Kimball Makerspace.

Angie Culek-Schaeffer
Has lived in Kimball most of her life. She graduated from Kimball High School and WNCC. She is a mother of 3 and also works at the Kimball County Manor. She enjoys reading, gardening, jewelry making, and painting. Angie likes to read medical thrillers and science fiction books.
